Texas wrangles top spot
Our survey of the best states for business put the Lone Star State in the top spot, with Virginia coming in second. States are moderator on 10 groupes, with cost of doing business prejudiced heaviest. Additional factors include education, quality of life and transportation.

In the direction of top it off, Texas has moved the brunt of the real estate crisis, as Dallas continues to get bigger. Motionless, rising commercial rents coupled with high wages have raised the cost of doing business.

Because for Virginia, its diverse financial system and welcoming narrow climate make it a leading place to do business. Unmoving, high absorptions of joblessness and growing classroom sizes show that it, too, has been hit by the depression.
