U.S. retailers pushing to expand overseas

Since Americans' love matter with shopping cools, vendors are venturing abroad in search of augmentation.
Bloomingdale’s and
Crate & Barrel each opened their first store outside the
U.S. in Dubai this year. Abercrombie & Fitch just opened its first
real estate store in London. Burn has begun shipping tools and garments to 90 countries. Macy's is looking at going into China. And Target, the reduction chain that for a decade has resisted Wall Street weight to make bigger globally, revealed this spring that it wants to open provisions outside the U.S. and is looking at Canada, Mexico and Latin America.
