Foreigners Buying Up US possessions

American real estate seems like it’s on sale at good deal basement prices. Except whether the spike in foreigners buying possessions materializes into a full swing market rebound may be the bigger question.

“We’re considering an increase,” said Lamont Crump, director of sales for Condo Vultures in Miami, Florida. “Overseas purchases make up 50 to 60% of our sales.” Investors in real estate are swarming to Miami Beach from as far away as Europe and Israel to grab American land and condos. Purchasers from Columbia, Brazil, France, Italy and Norway have been add up in recent transactions.
