When Mark Karasick tried to pay for the U.S. Steel Tower concerning four years ago, the near contract fell apart, the real estate shareholder remember yesterday.
The pieces to finish came in concert when his New York group concluded its $250 million acquirement of Pittsburgh's tallest skyscraper on Friday.
"It's an astonishing space, and the views are beautiful," Karasick said by phone from Israel.
Karasick, based in Manhattan, and his real estate speculation partners acquired 600 Grant Street Associates LP, the building's owner, from a assemblage led by Area Property Partners.
"What fascinated us to U.S. Steel Tower were its three large boarders and their long-term leases," Karasick said.
