Previous Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney says President Barack Obama does not appreciate what it takes to boost the financial system and how to get America out of its fiscal crisis. Romney also said Monday on Fox News he would greeting real estate billionaire Donald Trump’s admission into the presidential fight, adding “the water’s fine — come on in.”

“Look, he’s a wonderful guy and I wish him the very best and expect he gets into the race. The water's fine — come on in,” Romney told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren, when asked about a potential Trump presidential run.

“however I can tell you that in my own view, that in classify to get America's economy going over again and putting Americans back to work, which is our maximum priority — we got 20 million Americans today that are also out of work, or stopped looking for work — you have to have somebody who appreciates how jobs come and go, and why jobs go abroad, and why it is that America is not as spirited as we could be,” Romney said.

On a new sunny Sunday afternoon, in Leawood, near Kansas City, realtor Ted DeVore long-sufferingly waited inside a stylish ranch home priced at $344,900, enthusiastic to point out the lush backyard, new roof, remodel kitchen and updated bathrooms. Other than most of the visitors to the open house were curious neighbors, not would-be buyers.

Middle-income Americans in Middle America are not yet ready to get back into the marketplace. Homes that do sell in the Kansas City area are often going for between 20 percent to 30 percent beneath the listed price.

"There are so many people quizzical things right now, asking themselves, am I going to have my job in six months?" DeVore said, affable but apparently resigned to a slow spring. "The indicators are very mixed for the whole financial system and the real estate markets very closely follow the on the whole economy."

No property bubble for us

My partner, Wilson Lee Flores, spoke his anxiety in his Facebook posting that a belongings bubble may be upon us. “Real estate is still astonishingly strong and has not yet imploded in spite of what I believe ‘too high’ high prices,” he experiential. Tiny house movement thrives amid real estate bust

Calif. — As Americans slim down in the aftermath of a huge real estate bust, at least one tiny turn of the housing market appear to be thriving. A small but growing number of Americans are buying or building homes that could fit inside many people's income rooms.

Jay Shafer, co-founder of the Small House Society, build an 89-square-foot house himself a decade ago and lived in it full-time until his son was born last year. In a space the size of an ice cream truck, he has a kitchen with gas stove and sink, bathroom with shower, two-seater porch, bedroom loft and a "great room" where he can work and amuse — as long as he doesn't request more than a duo guests.

"Living in a small house like this really entails meaningful what you need to be happy and in receipt of rid of everything else," Shafer said.
